The SLC3 is the third generation of our Super Light bike. This frame was made to conquer most terrains with its super lightweight 699g build, ensuring that every watt of power is transferred efficiently with its stiff ultra-layup technology.
We designed the frame with power transfer in mind, incorporating both asymmetric chainstays and an asymmetric bottom bracket to ensure the drive side of the bike can handle the strongest of climbers. What goes up must come down, and with flat mount disc brakes you can descend with confidence on the SLC3.

Aerodynamics

Under equal speed conditions (48 km/h), the SLC3's aerodynamics are comparable to the T1550. Each product is rigorously tested in a Japanese wind tunnel laboratory.

A blend of Toray T1100, T1000, M46 and M65. T1100 is top-tier carbon fiber with high strength and high modulus, widely used in the aerospace industry.

The bottom bracket stiffness is now 72 N/mm. This is 28.6% stiffer than a Specialized SL8.
