Below are our Terms of Service. There is some legal wording here but the bottom line is it's always our aim to provide excellent customer service and work of the highest quality.
The warranty applies to products purchased from Winspace UK Ltd by the original owner only.
Winspace supply all frames with 3 years' warranty, all wheelsets with 2 years' warranty and 1 year for accessories.
Unless otherwise stated, the sole remedy under this warranty or any implied warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of Winspace. In the event a replacement item is claimed under warranty, Winspace will endeavour to supply the identical model and options. Product design and options change over time, so in the event it is not possible to replace like-for-like the closest alternative will be offered.
Winspace will not be responsible for any direct, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability or any other theory.
Any work carried out under warranty is limited to the repair and/or adjustment of Winspace parts. Any additional work required to carry out such repairs will be charged at standard rates. (e.g. removing and replacing a tubeless tyre to gain access to spokes.)
This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear on parts (e.g. Rim braking surface, Stickers, Decals, Paintwork etc.)
Damage caused by a crash, accident, clamping/crushing (e.g. car bike carrier or work stand), mis-use, or user negligence.
Consumable components including brake pads, spokes, rim tapes, bearings, etc.
The use of the product outside of its intended use. (e.g. using road wheels for gravel or mountain bike riding)
Improper installation or maintenance by an un-authorized or un-qualified technician.
Use with other third-party non-compatible products. (e.g. using non-suitable brake pads)
If an item is faulty, not as described or damaged upon receipt it will be replaced, or a full refund offered.
Such items must be reported immedaitely and returned within 14 days. Replacements or refunds will be processed once the item has been returned.
Please note: Damaged boxes must be reported to the courier upon receipt, otherwise, compensation for damaged contents cannot be claimed.
Items must be returned unused in their original condition and packaging. We are unable to accept returns where item(s) have been used, or packaging lost or damaged or is otherwise not in the condition you received it in.
The safe return of any item(s) is the responsibility of the sender, therefore we suggest that you use an insured and traceable postal/courier service that protects you against loss or damage.
We aim to provide high-quality products and exceptional service. This cancellation policy outlines your rights and responsibilities regarding order cancellations, including the handling of non-refundable deposits.
Cancellation by the Customer
* Except where items are returned due to a fault, all refunds are subject to a 3.5% fee to cover the bank card transaction we were charged. (Payments made by bank transfer are not subject to this fee and therefore can be repaid in full.)
Order cancellation conditions depend on whether your order was 'standard' or 'special' as deailed below.
A. Standard orders
Item(s) that are available from our local UK stock are deemed standard orders.
• If you cancel your order:
• Before dispatch: You will receive a full refund*.
• After dispatch: You may return the goods within 14 days under our returns policy above. Postage costs can only be refunded on damaged or faulty goods.
B. Special Orders
If your item(s) are not avaialble from UK stock these will be ordered from the factory and are deemded special order. Customers will be informed this is the case.
• If you cancel a special order:
• Within 24 hours of placing the order: Your deposit and payment (if applicable) will be refunded*.
• After 24 hours: No refund is possible and you are liable for the full cost of the item.
Cancellation by Winspace UK (Tailwind Cycles Ltd)
We reserve the right to cancel your order under the following circumstances:
• If we are unable to fulfill the order due to supply chain issues or unforeseen circumstances.
• If payment is not received within an acceptable timeframe.
• If there is a pricing or product description error.
In such cases:
• You will be notified promptly.
• Any deposit or payment made will be refunded in full.
How to Cancel an Order
To cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible by email to info@winspace.uk providing your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to cancel.
Refunds and Processing Times
• Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 3 business days of confirmation.
• Refunds will be made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Exceptions to the Cancellation Policy
The following items are not eligible for cancellation or refund unless defective or not as described:
• Custom-made or bespoke items where production has already begun.
• Items explicitly marked as non-returnable or final sale.
• Where the customer has been made explicitly aware this is the case.
